Where it gets interesting
Ebony is dratic and bold. It is nearly black in color with thin, contrasting yellow-brown stripes and a beautiful sheen. The tree is small which makes the veneer rare, precious and highly sought after. Ebony is widely used for high-end cabinetry and architectural millwork and is also a popular choice for musical instruments.
