Dooge Veneers Policies and Legal Documents

The following policies are applicable to all products sold and supported by Dooge Veneers, Inc. For more information please visit our website at www.doogeveneers.com or contact your Dooge Sales Representative.

SELECTION & NORMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT

  • Dooge Veneers offers natural wood-based products that are meticulously selected and prepared during the sales support process. Due to the nature of the product, there may be slight quantity variations within a tolerance of +/- 10% upon delivery. No claims for the inherent variances outside of the normal tolerances can be made after approved receipt and review of the material.
  • All Dooge Veneers products are based on natural wood and thus are susceptible to color and composition changes from production and environmental factors including moisture, heat, light exposure, and dye absorption. Dooge Veneers cannot be held responsible for the above-mentioned alterations in products or color discrepancies compared to approved samples as these are natural reactions of the wood.
  • Due to the nature of the product, there may be slight quantity variations within a tolerance of +/- 10% upon delivery. Orders for material that include different production runs and/or logs may vary in color and composition due to the natural properties of the underlying wood. It is recommended that all material is thoroughly reviewed upon receipt and tested appropriately in the finish and production process to ensure proper presentation of the end product. No claims for the inherent variances outside of the normal tolerances can be made after approved receipt and review of the material.

PRODUCTION & USE

  • Customer is responsible for the proper testing and use of the product. Dooge recommends testing all production and finish processes and reviewing fit for use prior to full production to ensure material meets performance and requirements of the project.

ESTIMATES & ORDER CONFIRMATION

  • Only after formal acceptance of the order by Dooge Veneers is the contract deemed to be enforced. Acceptance if the order constitutes acceptance of all Dooge product and sales policies.
  • Customer shall review the order confirmation and immediately report any errors, omissions or discrepancies. If no objections are raised, the details in the order confirmation provided by Dooge Veneers will be considered accurate and final.
  • As part of the order confirmation process, Dooge Veneers may communicate with the customer to discuss and arrange suitable methods for fulfilling the order. Unless specified, Dooge Veneers reserves the right to make partial deliveries of orders. If a product is unavailable after an order has been confirmed Dooge Veneers will inform the client in writing (via email) within 30 days from the order date, providing details related to the delivery of the order.
  • Dooge Veneers reserves the right to cancel approved orders in the case of cost increases independent of their control, making fulfilling the orders onerous or impossible to fulfill.
  • Production schedules may vary. Estimates of the production lead time will be provided during the quoting and order confirmation process. Typically, production lead time may require 2 to 6 weeks to complete.
  • Estimated shipment schedules can be provided at the time of quotes and order confirmations. However, please note that these schedules are subject to factors beyond the control of Dooge Veneers and therefore, Dooge will not be held liable for any delays incurred.

PRICE

  • Dooge Veneers price lists are for reference purposes only and do not constitute a binding offer. Dooge Veneers reserves the right to unilaterally modify the prices without prior notice. The price stated in the order confirmation is considered final and binding. This price remains valid for 30 days from the confirmation date.
  • The price is quoted FOB Grand Rapids, MI. Expedited shipments are available at an additional cost. While we can provide an estimate of expedited freight upon request, please note that the actual cost may vary due to unforeseen increases beyond the control of Dooge Veneers.

INSPECTION, HANDLING & STORAGE

  • Natural products are susceptible to changes in humidity and are highly sensitive to light. Please be sure that products are properly handled and stored upon receipt and prior to inspection.
  • Upon receipt, customer is responsible for inspecting the product for any defects or alterations. In the event of such issues, written communication or email must be sent to your Dooge Veneers sales representative within 10 days of receiving the product. Failure to do so within this time frame will be deemed as acceptance of the product, and no claims can be made thereafter.
  • If the customer examines the product at Dooge Veneers Inc premises, any defects or flaws must be reported immediately. Claims made at a later time will not be accepted. Returns for materials inspected at Dooge Veneers Inc. will only be accepted if agreed upon in writing. Returns will only be considered if a defect was impossible to detect within opening the bundles.

RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP

  • If full or partial payment is not received by the invoice due date, Dooge Veneers Inc. reserves the right to reclaim the delivered products without requiring a judicial order. Customer acknowledges and agrees to this provision and agrees not to raise any objections.

RETURNS

  • Products may be returned in accordance with the above policies and only after specific authorization is attained by an authorized Dooge representative. Credit will be given on approved returns subsequent to receipt and inspection at Dooge Veneers and only if the returned material is complete and in resalable condition. Please note that all special-order materials including Tabu 555 dyed materials and custom products cannot be returned. Dooge reserves the right to charge restocking and handling charges on all returns.
  • All returned materials must retain their original bundle labels and must be free from any alterations or markings. Returns must be received at Dooge in re-sellable condition with appropriate packaging protecting the returned material. Dooge is not liable for damages incurred during return shipment.

CONSIGNMENT

  • All materials delivered on a consignment basis are considered the property of Dooge Veneers, not the consignee. Invoices for consigned materials will be issued to the consignee, or a third party if prior arrangements have been made, on the 14th day following the shipment date.

WARRANTY & CLAIMS

  • Dooge warrants that the product(s) delivered conform to the description(s) on the applicable order confirmation and invoice. This warranty shall not apply to product(s) which have been subject to misuse, neglect or accident. Every production stage affects results and Dooge cannot guarantee color stability or accept liability once the product leaves our warehouse, except in cases of proven manufacturing defect. Dooge makes no warranty as to the fitness of the products(s) for any particular purpose or the results to be obtained from their use either alone or in combination with other materials and substances. Dooge makes no other representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the product(s). Dooge’s liability, if any, shall be limited to either the replacement of the product(s) or the return of the purchase price. In no event shall Dooge be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  • All claims must be received in writing by the applicable Dooge sales representative within 10 days of receipt. Failure to notify within this policy time frame will be considered acceptance and constitute a waiver for all claims on the received product(s).
