Where it gets interesting
Redwood is one of the largest and tallest trees on earth, producing a rich, warm reddish-brown veneer.
Quarter cut shows fine striping or figure, while burl (vavona burl) comes from large growths and yields some of the world’s largest, most uniform burl veneer. It is widely used for luxury furniture and custom automotive, yacht, and jet interiors.
