Where it gets interesting
Mahogany has been traded through African ports for centuries and suits contemporary, global, and traditional interiors. It is red to red-brown and it can show plain to ropey stripe patterns and decorative cross figuring, with crotch cuts producing vivid flame-like effects. Its rich tone and varied figure make it a classic choice for statement architectural surfaces and fine interior work.
