Where it gets interesting
Ziricote is often called the abstract art of veneer, prized for its one-of-a-kind grain patterns like spiderwebbing, marbling, and cloudbursts. It ranges from medium to dark brown, sometimes with a purple hue, with almost black streaks adding strong contrast. Quarter cut may show ray flecking similar to hard maple, and designers sometimes highlight the sapwood to add visual contrast and reduce waste.
