Where it gets interesting
English brown oak is not a separate species, but European oak whose heartwood has been naturally darkened by fungus to a rich brown. When the wood remains sound, it is sliced into this highly desirable deep brown veneer. Its deep tone and varied cuts make it a strong choice for refined, natural interiors and feature surfaces.
