Where it gets interesting
Chestnut, introduced to Europe by the Romans, thrives in warm regions across Europe and Asia. It ranges from cream, beige and yellow to dark brown with a strong, oak-like grain, straight lines, and a somewhat coarse texture. It takes stain well and finishes easily.
